Types of Passive Income

Not just the 5 he can fit into his art gallery workshop but thousands online. And they’ll all be paying $50 a month to do it. Meanwhile, Chris isn’t filming any new classes. He did all the work upfront. He just sits back and collects the monthly subscription dues.

Another client is an actor and musician. Jim has multiple websites. He sells his books and music online with Amazon and other outlets. On his blog, he also recommends the works of other artists who sell on Amazon. When someone purchases something through the link he provides, he makes money. All he had to do was write the initial articles and from then on out, anytime someone read that article and clicked that link, he got paid. It took a lot of work and time to get his website setup and his articles marketed, but he is still seeing an income a year later even though he did the initial work a year ago.

Marilyn Doheny, an international quilt artist, is doing a hybrid of Jim and Chris’ model. She’s going to do online classes but she also has products to sell and a quilting podcast being set up.
